At the heart of their newly built house in Cheshire, the clients wanted a John Makepeace dining room for social occasions.  They already owned a fine French sideboard in pale shagreen.

Working with the client and their interior designers, John proposed a table in scrubbed burr oak with matt nickelled bronze inlays and legs.  The washed burr oak of the table top has a sensuous texture contrasting with the nickel legs and inlays.
